Hey! Here I am now in Singapore! :D
So I'm having a solo trip here to visit some universities.
I arrived today at 8.05 am Singapore time, was picked up by Kak Tiara, my cousin who studies here. We had a breakfast on changi's Burger King. Then we came to her apartment. Well, I think her apertment is very cozy :p
Kak Tiara showed me a website named gothere.sg. It's so cool! It guides you wherever you want to go in Singapore. I'll surely get lost without it .__.
I decided to left the apartment at 11 am (after an hour spending my time studying the map trough gothere.sg of course :P)
First destination: Singapore Management University. I was a lil bit confused in MRT anyway, but finally I successfully got there! :)
Lee Kong Chian - School of Business @ SMU
The campus was so big and cool! Unfortunately they don't provide a single tour, so i just came by and asked for some informations. (Fyi, the picture above is only one of 6 campuses there plus 1 library building and 1 administration building) SMU also have an underground level that connects the SMU complex, plus connects them directly to the MRT station. cool!
Oh well, way before, I arrived in SMU at 12.30 and they're having lunch time. They told me to get back after 2. I looked for any nearest mall and I found Plaza Singapura. I walked around and had some lunch there. The mall is average, quite good mall :p
Okay, then at 2 I went to SMU again, yea, so I've told you before what it's like. I walked around the area and I was amazed by the buildings surround it.
Next to SMU is The Cathedral of Singapore, and near them is Singapore Art Museum. I walked by and i found Fort Canning Park in front of SMU! The park was great! Next to Fort Canning Park there's National Museum of Singapore. The building was magnificent but i think Indonesian museum are much better. I once get lost in the Fort Canning Park but i could find the right way :p
Fort Canning Park
I found out that SMU is very near to NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts) and SOTA (School of The Arts) - (later I found out that they're near to orchard too!). I walked to find NAFA and SOTA too. I thought NAFA was super cool, but I was wrong. It looks like an old apartment to me. SMU was so much better.
SOTA was a bit hard to find for me, but then i found it. And i was speechless. It was BIG and super cool! I just like I want to go inside! i noticed SOTA is going to have a open house on April 30th. Kyaaa!

It was a tiring journey. I've been spending like 4 hours walking around Bras Basah. I didn't take any stop until I arrive in Clarke Quay. Clarke Quay was out of my track actually, but I don't know why I always love Clarke Quay. Basicly, Clarke Quay is a place that has a restaurant row beside the singapore river. I waited there waiting for Kak Tiara to finish her class and get dinner together. I still have 2,5 hours seeing around in Clarke Quay.
Clarke Quay!
Unfortunately I was way too early to go there that almost no store were opened. I decided to go ahead to orchard, and i finally tasted the Orchard $1 Ice cream again!! :D
I met Kak Tiara and we waited for Divi for like 1 hour because we couldn't contact her. we took a dinner in P.S. Cafe at 8.30. The cafe is located in Harding Road, a place that i have never reached before.
I ordered a unusual menu that I can't even remember the name. Actually, I have never heard of that food name, and I picked ngasal-ly. Well, i got a bit shock when it came to my table. It was an Bolognaise Eggplant. TERONG. I'm totally okay with the Bolognaise, but how the hell they made a TERONG as a main course. This is just too weird. Ah I should've took the photo of the terong. Okay, whatsoever with the eggplant .__.
Lastly, I went back to the apartment by taxi, and i don't know why I was fascinated by singapore's public transportations :p
and... see you in my next post! :)
